HISTORY
| 1901 | At the present Ginza, Tokyo, founder Gohei Moritani and his company starts business with the purpose of promoting selected, quality Japan-made machinery. |
| 1914 | As its first overseas operation, the Company inaugurates Taiwan Representative Office (now Moritani Taiwan Co., Ltd.) with a view to expanding business overseas. |
| 1918 | Reorganizes itself as a joint-stock company, with Gohei Moritani as first president.
Sets up U.S.A. Representative Office (now Moritani America Inc.) |
| 1928 | Relocates head office to its present address at Yaesu, Tokyo, with the relocation signaling a fully restructured sales operation and a renewed determination for a leap forward based on an entrepreneurial harbinger spirit. |
